Become a partner

We build open source robot arms and teach people how they work. If that is worth supporting, here is what the two sides look like.

What your support pays for

Filament and print time. Motors, bearings, belts and drives. Circuit boards we design and solder ourselves to keep costs down. Cameras and edge computing for the ARCADE cell. Travel to fairs and to our partners at KTH Stockholm. Nobody here is paid, so every euro goes into hardware or into getting members to the places where they learn something.

What you get in return

These are the commitments from our standard partnership agreement, and we hold to them:

  • Your logo or wordmark on this website and in our social media
  • Your offers put in front of our members and the students around us
  • The projects your support funds, presented at an event of yours
  • A banner naming you as sponsor at our public appearances

In-kind support works too

For many companies a part is easier to approve than a budget line, and it helps us just as much. Filament, motors, bearings, drives, cameras, circuit-board manufacturing, machine time, software licences, measurement equipment. If it moves a robot forward, we can use it.

Talking to our members

Around fifty students work here, from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science and industrial engineering. They are the people who will be designing automation systems in three years. Partners meet them at our lab, at fairs and at the events we present at.
